2011 Eureka! Fellow Nichole King
My name is Nichole King and I’m the teen services librarian at Morgan Hill Library. I have been a teen services librarian for 6 years, and I was a children’s librarian as well. I am active in BAYA, CLA and ALA. I served on the Amazing Audiobooks Committee for YALSA for 3 years, with the last year being chair. I love reading teen books, especially those of the paranormal variety. I love connecting teens with books and while working with teens can be difficult sometimes, I find it the most rewarding.
I am looking forward to attending the Eureka! Leadership Institute to network with other passionate librarians, learn tips and techniques for being a good leader, and creating a purposeful and creative project for teens.
I live in San Jose, CA with my husband, 2 yr. old son and a pair of kooky dogs. I can often be found watching hockey, eating from food trucks and discovering new crafty endeavors.
