2009 Eureka! Leadership Institute: Jenny Davis

Jenny Davis is the Collection Development Coordinator for the Redwood City Public Library. Ms. Davis received her MLIS from San Jose State University's School of Library and Information Science. Prior to entering the field, she was the Events Manager for Kepler's Books and Magazines, an independent bookstore with a nationally recognized reading series. At Redwood City Public Library, she oversees the purchasing, maintenance, technical processing, and marketing of the collections for Redwood City's four libraries. Ms. Davis has been a member of the Redwood City Supervisor's Academy and the Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont Leadership Institute.

In her spare time, Jenny reads books with her mostly-librarian book group, volunteers for (and does yoga) at her neighborhood yoga studio, has a monthly eating with her Burger Club, and generally enjoys living in San Francisco.

At the Eureka Leadership Institute, Jenny hopes to learn new leadership skills, to build a network of support in the profession, and to contribute her ideas for innovative library services.
